In 2007, the breast care center at Englewood Hospital was renamed in honor of Leslie Simon in recognition of the Invitational’s exceptional support of the center. A heart was incorporated into its new logo to symbolize the love that
is at the very core of the event. The Leslie Simon Breast Care Center is a world-renowned pioneer and leader in the field of the early detection and treatment of breast cancer. There were 47,238 patient visits to the center in 2009.
The Breast Care Center at Nyack Hospital
The Breast Center at Nyack Hospital is a first-class, comprehensive provider of breast diagnostic and treatment services with an emphasis on cancer prevention, early detection and personalized care. The Center’s advanced technology, dedicated medical team and complete range of services address the physical and emotional issues women face when seeking breast care.

The Kennedy Funding Invitational
It began as a passionate tribute to a friend, Leslie Simon. It has grown to become a powerful statement about the importance of battling breast cancer.
In just its first four years, The Kennedy Funding Invitational has donated more than $3 million to the breast care centers at Englewood Hospital and Nyack Hospital. Now one of the premier charitable tennis tournaments in the nation, we’re hoping to continue the success in 2010 with our biggest event yet.
